NFL: Back To School Essay Fundraiser

Back to Football Friday

NFL Back to Football Friday is a nation-wide celebration that unites fans of all 32 teams to welcome back the NFL football season. Students, teachers and school administrators are encouraged to wear their favorite NFL team gear and show their NFL team spirit by organizing Back to Football Friday celebrations at their school for the chance to win great prizes from the NFL!

For interested schools:

Students, teachers, PTO/PTA leaders and school administrators can log-on to www.NFLRUSH.com/backtofootball and register their school for a chance to win a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 youth health and wellness grant* and an NFL team celebration. Schools will be asked to display their NFL spirit, along with great health and wellness habits by completing two essays and submitting photos of their in-school Back to Football Friday celebration. Celebrations should on Friday, September 9th as the whole nation celebrates the return to football!

Rossview Middle School

If you are interested in supporting this great endeavor, write an essay and submitted to your PE teacher for entry. Also don't forget to where your favorite NFL jersey on Sept. 9th to support the return of NFL football.

RMS PTO Chick-A-Fil Night on Jan 6th 2012

The Parent-Teacher Organization at Rossview Middle School invites you out to Family Night at Chick-A-Fil on Madison St. on January 6th from 4PM to closing. We need everyone to come out & support our fundraising efforts. All you have to do is write your child's name on your ticket/receipt and drop it in the box at the register & the school receives 15% of the sales for that day. We hope to see your there.

RMS Drama Club: 8/26/2011

There will be a meeting for all students interested in participating in Drama Club this Friday, Aug. 26th, from 2:15-3:30. We will be discussing this year's production and signing up for audition times. You must attend this meeting if you want a chance to audition.

Intramurals Club: Starts 8/22/2011

Starting Monday, August 22nd Monday thru Friday from 2:30-4:30 come join the Intramural Club. Bring a snack & tennis shoes for skill development & game play. You must have a consent form signed by a parent before you can stay after school. Pick up the form in the Gym.

RMS: Baseball Tryout for 2011-2012 Season

Tryouts for the 2012 Hawks Middle School Baseball team will be Wednesday, September 7 from 5:00-8:00. Tryouts are open to all RMS boys in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. There will be a brief parents meeting from 5:00-5:15. For any additional information, contact Coach Story at the Rossview High School.

CiCi's Pizza Night on Madison Street. RMS PTO

2011 Fall Book Fair (Aug.18th - 26th)

Rossview Middle School welcome students, families and members of the community to come to the Fall 2011 Book Fair located in the library. It's important for all children at an early age to start learning the importance of reading books.

Book Fairs are unique experiences because they:
1. Give all students access to quality books in every price range, interest, and reading level.
2. Offer exclusive, more affordable editions of many of the most popular books sold in retail stores.
3. Allow kids to preview and choose books they want to read, which elevates their motivation to read.
4. Engage families in literacy activities that reinforce with students that reading really matters to the school community.
5. Help your child's school earn books and funds to improve school and classroom libraries.
